Wills and estates are not the most exciting themes in anyone’s life, but they are no less vital than any other personal financial planning matter. In fact, we view Wills and estate planning as the foundation of securing the financial well-being of any family, now and for future generations. It is that important.
This means that we approach Will drafting and estate administration from a client first/client centric perspective. The simple question we ask when drafting a Will is: “What is in the best interests of the client and their family and is this reflected in their Will and wishes?”
We know and well understand that there are emotional and psychological and sometimes confidentiality blockages to drafting and updating a Will. But this is where our expertise and experience come in. While caring greatly about our clients and their wishes, we are professionally independent and highly experienced and thus able to provide the dispassionate guidance so many people need when thinking through their Will and estate planning.
So, if we could ask just three things of you:
- Does your Will reflect exactly what you want for your loved ones, dependants and heir
- Have your circumstances changed in any way that needs to be reflected in your Will?
- Have you prepared a Life File containing all relevant documents to assist your heirs and us as Executors to administer your estate efficiently and timeously?
If you have answered “No” to any of these three questions, or are unsure, please simply contact Appleton on clientcare@appleton.com or our Toll-free number 0800 50 60 70, or contact your Wealth Specialist, or Planner or Financial Advisor and bring everything up to date to provide you and your loved ones with peace of mind.
